He has also served in conference and district leadership, particularly in clergy development, strategic mission, and church growth.
Mission and service have long been central to Erik’s calling. He has participated in more than 20 mission trips in the United States and internationally, including Mexico, Poland, Venezuela, Peru, and Guatemala.
Erik and his wife, Lindsey, married in 2007. Lindsey is a pediatric occupational therapist, and together they have three daughters and a miniature schnauzer. Outside of ministry, Erik enjoys traveling, movies, cooking, spending time with family and friends, and Alabama football.
Above all, Erik believes the local church is one of the most powerful forces for hope in the world when people come together to worship God, care for one another, and serve their community with the love of Christ.
